I believe that development of BIA is essential in continuing to ensure travellers have no need to travel to the South East of Birmingham in order to fly short or long haul. The M4 and Heathrow and Gatwick airports are congested enough as it is, and it is important that people have a viable, local alternative to make use of.

BIA has committed to the site at Lulsgate over Filton, so it is essential that development continues.

Improved and increased frequency public transport from all parts of the city (especially the north and east) is essential, as is the Bus Rapid Transit system.
