I support the airports expansion and always have, I have lived in Long Ashton, Nailsea and now North Worle. I have lived with the Airport in my life as a permanent fixture and it annoys me when you hear of these people that move into the area surrounding the airport and then constantly complain about the noise and traffic. It wasn't hiding when they moved in, the estate agents didn't stand in the way so the buyer couldn't see the airport or it's planes and traffic, these buyer knew what they were getting into when they purchased the properties. I think the airport's expansion is very good news and long overdue, we should have gone ahead with sinking the A38 to allow for the runway to be lengthened to allow for larger vehicles but that's another issue. This plan will ensure more jobs, more tourism and more money will flow into this very rural area. It will also make the world more accessible to the residents of the south west.

I wholeheartedly support the Bristol International Airport Expansion plan, and for people who think that I don't know what it's like to live near the airport, my house is on the main approach path to Lulsgate and even with easyjets landing regularly it doesn't bother us and never has.
